There are so many ways to incorporate desserts both bride and groom love into the wedding. If you prefer a traditional cake to cut, that’s always a crowd-pleaser. If you’re considering something more exciting, try adding in another of the ideas above. There are many ways to make the dessert part of your reception a little more over the top and fun.

One favorite reception at Royal Affairs offered a different cake flavor as the centerpiece at each table. The wedding cake was still available and cut for photo opportunities, but the cakes were available at each table for guests to cut when they were ready. Guests enjoyed the freedom to dig into the cakes without waiting for the bride and groom.

In the heat of a Texas summer, having a fancy snowcone truck parked in the parking lot to offer specialty snowcones to guests is a big hit! It’s a nice way to cool off and adds a unique touch to receptions and quinceaneras. Pre-selecting unique flavors that complement the rest of the party is a fun way to add a special touch to your special event.

There are plenty of ways to combine the above ideas to achieve what your heart desires on your special day. The fun part is being creative and making it your own! Check out more fun, dessert ideas here and here.
